2004 Marlboro Test Sample Zippo — Red Ultralite

This is not a production lighter. It was never sold in a store. Made in 2004 as a test sample for the Marlboro brand, this Zippo was produced in extremely limited numbers to evaluate the Red Ultralite chip design — and somehow, it survived.

Test samples like this are among the rarest finds in Zippo collecting. They exist outside the normal production run, carry no retail history, and surface only when private collections change hands. This example is in new, unfired condition — exactly as it left the factory over 20 years ago.
