Riley's 66 is honored to partner with the Ernie Pyle Legacy Foundation in producing this Ernie Pyle Tribute Zippo lighter. The Ernie Pyle Legacy Foundation was formed in 2013 to continue the legacy of Ernie Pyle and ensure the ongoing recognition of his accomplishments. They work to create public awareness of the journalism style of his writings and provide opportunities for dialogue among working journalists, students and the public. The lighter design echoes the WWII era on the 1941 Replica lighter with Black Crackle finish. The bulk of the proceeds from the sale of the lighter go to the Foundation to help in their ongoing efforts. The orange safety label was removed for the photos (lighter will ship with the label attached). The lighter includes the original box, outer sleeve, guarantee paperwork, and Certificate of Authenticity.

Customer video review of EXCLUSIVE - ZIPPO LIGHTER - Ernie Pyle Tribute - Black Crackle®

One of my beloved theme was the Replica 1941 done in Black Crackle and Riley's 66 has done a fabulous job by releasing one of the most iconic Zippo of all time, providing us Zippo nuts a chance to own a piece of history, even with just a replica. It fits perfectly into my theme. Once again, a big thank to Mr. Riley and his efforts.

My picture doesn't do this lighter justice. I do love that it's a '41 replica. The signature & engravings jump out at you irl. If you love history, you will want this in your collection. Another great buy from Rileys 66.
