Riley's 66 is honored to partner with the Ernie Pyle Legacy Foundation in producing this Ernie Pyle Tribute Zippo lighter. The Ernie Pyle Legacy Foundation was formed ten years ago to continue the legacy of Ernie Pyle and ensure the ongoing recognition of his accomplishments. They work to create public awareness of the journalism style of his writings and provide opportunities for dialogue among working journalists, students and the public. The lighter design echoes the WWII era on the 1941 Replica lighter with Black Crackle finish. The bulk of the proceeds from the sale of the lighter go to the Foundation to help in their ongoing efforts. The orange safety label was removed for the photos (lighter will ship with the label attached). The lighter includes the original box, outer sleeve, guarantee paperwork, and Certificate of Authenticity.
